Breaking in my new tablet with a long-overdue portrait of wickedmetalviking! I probably didnโ€™t do him justice, but I enjoyed it, nonetheless. Click here if youโ€™d like me to draw you, too!

Thanks very much to the illustrious Elise Parsley for recommending Monoprice to me.

you know, i’m not that fond of my physical appearance, but i have to say: the color scheme is something i would have chosen, certainly using white brings out my paleness. the hair is spot-on, though hardly that luxurious irl, and i like how big and strong my arms look

all in all, thanks ๐Ÿ™‚

English has come Full Circle

Back in the old days, when English was still in its infancy, the literate world looked down upon the English language. Not only because everyone had a hard-on for Latin, but because, of all the vernacular languages in circulation, English was considered a base language (and i do mean “base” in the archaic form, which is to say lowly and contemptible). After all, it was an amalgamation of Germanic, French, and Welsh, and had no standardized rules of spelling or pronunciation. Anyone could say any word in English however they wanted.

Several hundred years later and here we are now. We turn our noses up at the Middle Ages in scorn, acting as though we’re “so” much more enlightened and generally “better” than they were.

And yet English has gone full circle back to the form of yesteryear. True, we’re not speaking in Middle English (unfortunately), but the centuries of grammar rules and standardizations that were brought into the English language, which had been championed by the British Empire and the United States until it has become the “common language” of the world, are being thrown out the door. People misspell, mispronounce, and generally say words however they damn well please, and woe be you if you dare correct them! At this point, the way orc-minded, ignorant, and barely literate troglodytes misuse the word, “nazi” has lost all of its effect, the same way liberals have made “fascist” lose its effect through overuse and misapplication.

I hate the message of this video: here we have the poor, oppressed everyman who is a victim of his circumstances. And then we have Dio (God?) up on his rooftop, towering over the little people (i think Ronnie may have had Napoleon’s Syndrome), mocking their/my pain.

Listen here white supremacy, white people have single handily caused most of the world’s wars, anguish, and problems. Not to mention Christianity as also caused a shit ton of people to die? And if you can’t see that then you’re not actually looking at history

All i see is your flawed opinion. Facts please. I have posted dozens of facts that support my contentions. You offer nothing but conjecture.

i forgot that the Peloponnesian War was fought by greek christians centuries before Jeshua’s birth. oh, let’s not talk about the millions of people who died in China’s Three Kingdoms period: they were, after all, non-white pagans. or the mountains of skulls made by the muslims invading india. or basically any succession war in Europe during the Middle Ages that had nothing to do with religion, or the Fourth Crusade. what about the Mongolians, who made the largest empire by land in the world? Temujin was “clearly” a white christian, am i right? or what about Japan’s sengoku period? or the Armenian genocide? or the rape of Nanjing by the Japanese during WW2? or josef stalin, mao, the kims, or literally any atheist government with a higher death-toll than hitler the nominal christian (if he can even be called that, the way he hated christianity so)
