it was a long and arduous journey, but at last, Ehawee – my Highmountain Tauren hunter – has finally joined the 110 club and gotten her swank heritage armor (and before Battle for Azeroth no less!)
All that’s left is to get her properly geared, finish the Hunter class hall campaign, and get the hidden appearance of the Survivalist weapon. Her name is Lakotan for “laughing maiden” (i think), which is appropriate for the so-bad-they’re-good /silly emotes of the Highmountain Tauren.
In every way except physical, we are Highmountain
finally got over the 86 hump and got my HM Tauren Hunter to Legion content. And, of course, had to take all the selfies with Addie Fizzlebog
The Ashbringer had been corrupted again: the pure heart of hope that had been cleansed so long ago defiled, and turned once again into an evil and corrupt thing. The Kirin Tor’s philosophy of “the end justifies the means”, which had been their marching orders throughout the Burning Legion’s third invasion, as well as their impetus behind allying with the Betrayer, had played out even among the Silver Hand. Hope was lost.
Driven by the desire to kill from the shard of darkness that the blasphemer Timmolain had made, Learrah Summersisle threw herself into the thickest of the Horde’s enemies. One thousand souls – demon hunters, warriors, hunters, priests, death knights, even fellow paladins – fed the evil that had been brought upon this world. It became too much to contain: the Kirin Tor had made a mistake unleashing such darkness upon the world. But they would never admit to their mistakes: they never admitted to being complicit in Kael’thas’ imprisonment, or the expulsion of the Sunreavers, why should they admit to being wrong now?
With the last vestige of her will, Learrah remembered the place where Lady Liadrin, her former superior and now champion in this war, had been purified. Taking a pilgrimage back to Quel’Danas, she bathed the Ashbringer in the light of the Sunwell. The fel was purged, and in its place, the blackened blade glowed once again with the Holy Light.
“One downside of being Lightforged is that my selfies are always overexposed!”
My Lightforged Draenei Lanaah joined the 110 club and got her epic Lightforged armor. Since I already have a max-level paladin, I’m not going to go after all the hidden appearances or grind PvP honor with her (as you can see, she has Truthguard transmog’d to the shield and sword of the Light). I might go for the hidden Protection artifact, since it looks very Draenei. But for the most part, she’s going to be on Argus killing demons and vindicating the Light.
PS – the 7.3.5 leveling experience may have nerfed experience gains and boosted mob health in the zones from classic through Warlords of Draenor, but if you have level 110 heirlooms, you can breeze through Legion content with nothing more than Legion invasions, the Light’s Heart scenario, class hall quests that give XP, bonus objectives, and one whole zone.
PPS – the best post with my LF Draenei is coming soon

My mage Sandrine has finally joined the level 110 club and earned a nice little heritage armor set in the process!
A funny anecdote about her: apparently the majority of WoW players during Legion were fire mages and retribution Paladins. Now once you get Felo’morn, the Fire mage artifact, you get three floating flame orbs that hover over your head at all times. I’ve jokingly stated that the combined heat of all those fire mages’ orbs would boil the water elementals in the Chamber of the Guardian.
So naturally I was hesitant to play as a fire mage, until i realized that it’s the most competent of the three classes. so i transmog’d my heirlooms to the Firelands set you see above. Once i hit 110 and got my heritage armor, i thought about switching to arcane, since there wasn’t really a reskin that matched the heritage armor. Then i got the hidden appearance of Felo’morn and everything worked out just fine.
