I finally realized the real reason why the New-52 Wonder Woman comics are so hated by the fans.

It’s the origin story rewrite.

See, in the original, it was boring. I mean, you complain that Superman is a boring “boy-scout”, Wonder Woman was literally made perfect (ie. free from the corruptive influence of men). Formed from clay by the Greek goddesses, she is free from the natural cycle of birth and life, she is not created by the natural union of man and women: naturally, therefore, she is perfect and free from any flaws in any way (not to mention that her sexist Amazon sisters – spirits of dead women killed by “those evil men” – are magically perfect for their misandrist man-hate).

This is the modern feminist’s wet dream. A world without men where everything is perfect and there are no problems.

So then comes the New-52 that recognizes that this is total bullshit and tries to make her story even somewhat interesting. And yes, I have read these comics so I’m not just speaking from nowhere. She becomes like a Greek hero, born from one of Zeus’ many flings, and of course has all of her old powers and such. Also the Amazons are now like the real-life Amazons, who capture and rape men, then kill the boy children and let the women live. For me, the most unbelievable part of the New-52 is that, despite being raised by realistic feminazis who constantly remind her that she is inferior to them because of Hipolyta’s decision to go with the bullshit “made from clay” story, and who ritualistically practice rape and child murder, Wonder Woman magically learns compassion and “loves everyone.”

Of course, the modern feminist can’t stand the truth. They don’t want strong or interesting characters, they want women to live in fear of being raped at a glance, they want women to hate men and view them as inferior, weak and evil. So obviously they can’t stand that their golem is now “tainted” by the stain of men, they can’t stand that their “perfect” little Amazons are now like feminazis.
