A hilarious story from my Night Elf hunter leveling. So after the Battle for Azeroth pre-order, the Highmountain Tauren have a portal in Thunder Totem which leads directly to the Horde Embassy building in Orgrimmar. Portals are nothing new, as they’ve been part of the game for a while: but you’d think, as one cannot use cross-faction portals, that no Alliance player could click on this portal and go to Orgrimmar, right? Right?

Wrong!

Out of curiosity, I clicked the portal and found myself one-shotted as soon as I materialized in Orgrimmar. After dying and starting from the graveyard south of Razor Hill, then having to walk my wisp spirit back at least two or three times (because the Old World zones won’t let you fly while a ghost, even though all the zones from Wrath onward do), I made my way to the back of the Embassy and used my hearthstone to return to friendlier territories (thank goodness for 7.3.5, otherwise this whole area would be filled with goblins and I’d have to either take the long way out through the west gate or take resurrection sickness).

My Night Elf hunter is finally ready for Legion! The 7.3.5 leveling experience was tough, but at least she never had to slog through Outland or Pandaria. Here we see her in what is probably the best Night Elf hunter transmog ever, accompanied by the ever adorable Addie Fizzlebog (i imagine that my huntress acts like a mother to Addie, since she’s over 10,000 years old).

PS – a bonus scene where my hunter espied Thisalee Crow doing some strange things to a harpy

PPS – her name Jenassa is TOTALLY from Skyrim and not a misspelling of one of @rexxart‘s models

This is my brother’s main in World of Warcraft: Battlelord Leshara, a 110 Draenei fury Warrior, member of the guild Tiny Toons, resident of the Aggramar realm.

History behind the name: Truth be told, I actually made this character as an Alliance alt back when I purchased Burning Crusade (and let my brother use her when he became interested in playing WoW). I knew nothing about the Draenei females and thought it would be cool to make one. As I had already made a Paladin on Hellgate London (man, that’s a blast from the past!), I thought that I would go the opposite direction and make a Warrior. The name I created on the spot, being as more of a proper name than my main’s name had been.

Here we see some pictures of her throughout Azeroth (and beyond). I haven’t any pictures of her in her current gear (as I’m the one who usually takes the screen-shots, and most of these were taken by my brother during Warlords of Draenor, when the s.e.l.f.i.e. cam dropped and he was working on that achievement). First, she is in purple Paladin gear outside of Karabor in Shadowmoon Valley of the past. In the next picture she is jumping off the cliff-walls north of the Argent Tournament grounds, then atop the Frozen Throne with Bolvar in the background (tell no one), then at the top of Mount Neverest in Pandaria (it’s not the tallest mountain in all Azeroth, trust me). Then there are two of her swimming in the Veiled Sea in Northrend (note the ridiculous faces she makes), then one in the Gurubashi Arena (laughing it up that she managed to take the picture without getting ganked), one in her Draenor garrison mine with that intrepid, inter-dimensional traveler Pepe, one in Stormwind (i think someone died), and finally another one of her at the Argent Tournament, with my brother’s girlfriend’s character (the leaping Gnome)

Meet my second Alliance alt from World of Warcraft: Loremaster (soon to be High Priest) Tharbinsgirl, a 110 Human holy Priest, member of the guild Friends for Life (not to be confused with Leeroy’s guild Pals for Life), resident of the Exodar realm.

History behind the name: the biggest in-joke of all time. This character was made as a role-playing character for a future World of Warcraft-based fan-story, whose original name was Melissa Redmane. In her back-story, she is married to Tharbin Redmane, and the name kind of evolved as something that she would call her character: so it’s a joke that only I would get (lol).

While I’m in no way a Burning Crusade hipster, the Vestments of the Avatar are gorgeous (and had to be acquired for TG’s priestly transmog). Here she is out in front of her garrison (before it got the swank stone wall upgrade at level 3. Below are two shots from a failed Dragon Soul run with two Draenei and (barely seen) a Gnome (he became very enthusiastic when he realized i was taking a photo). When that ridiculous little Gnome Addie said “we should totally take a s.e.l.f.i.e.”, i made an epic fail by taking the shot when her eyes closed. Lastly, here she is reading (i love the new models from Warlords of Draenor and how expressive they are).

PS – run out of my healing range and i will lay hands on you! (i mean leap of faith, but it sounds better the other way)
