Yep, something similar to whats happening in France also happened in
Brazil after 2013. It all started with riots against the increase of
prices of public transportation tickets, after a few days, no one could
point exactly what the protestors wanted because it becomes extremely
diffuse, basically people were using the riots to protest against
everything and there was too much counterinformation being propagated by
massa media (pending to the left wing narrative), and real information
being propagated by social media (pending to the right wing narrative).
Well, after the protests, the right was strengthened and the left was
weakened. This means the narrative mass media was trying to push was a
lie.
A few years later the president, from a far left party was impeached,
after intense riots. Lula was convicted by crimes of corruption, and we
elected, this year, a right wing president.
Considering the recent political events (Trump, Brexit, Salvini,
Orban…), i guess we are seeing the pendulum moving to the right in the
west. This is our version of the “Arab Spring”.
I say, theres a “cultural cold war” going on at the moment, inside every
western nation. In short, its about nationalism vs globalism.
But still, there are people who pretend this is just “conspiracy theory”,are ignorant or liars. in my experience with those that brush everything off as a “conspiracy theory” it is always due to either deflection or they lack the knowledge/misinformed on the topic – likely by the corporate media and their belief system that everything is [insert the usual NPC buzzwords and ists and isms

It’s more than nationalism vs. globalism. Especially in the second and third world, people have been lashing out for years at both the failures of their own countries to become less corrupt and turn into the better-functioning liberal democracies Western countries used to be, and at the turning of those same Western liberal democracies which would still uphold their core values that made them a working model, into ultra-globalist liberal left-leaning states obsessed with political correctness at the expense of their own citizens which still try to illiberally push their politics onto the rest of the world. Those are protests against both a country’s failure to measure up to a model, and the crumbling of that model.
The Canadian minister for immigration is Somalian born and is pro immigration.. funny that. Just like here in the UK we have non indigenous ministers advocating immigration. Funny that! But its not funny anymore.
Imagine getting bent out of shape anytime you see a post that talks about protecting minorities and thinking it must mean that YOU shouldn’t be protected or that your life doesn’t also matter…
There is no “Only” in front of black lives matter or in front of those “Protect Muslim/Black/Jewish lives and spaces” post I shared. Get a grip y’all
Places exclusively separated for one race or another is racism: it doesn’t matter if it’s for non-whites or not. Liberal intersectionality is the biggest proponent of modern racism in this world.
Surely you know there have always been different spaces for different purposes. Muslims have mosques, Jews have synagogues, and some black folks have churches where more black people happen to attend than whites due to the style of worship (though anyone is welcome!) You are trying to make this solely about race and implying that the existence of these spaces is “segregation” when it’s not. Jews don’t even have one specific race/color for that matter- there ARE ethnic Jews, but there are also black Jews for example. Different denominations of Christian churches exist too.
Again, showing support for others by saying we should protect their lives/spaces does not mean we should ONLY protect their lives/spaces. It doesn’t mean ours or others’ lives don’t matter. I’m not sure you understand intersectionality.
Intersectionality is the study of intersections between different disenfranchised groups or groups of minorities; specifically, the study of the interactions of multiple systems of oppression or discrimination.
Again, the Pittsburgh Synagogue Shooting was horrible, and it was just two months ago. If I recall correctly, you’ve shared posts that specifically showed support for Jewish people since then. So perhaps your only problem with that post I shared today is that it included Muslims and Black people? If that assumption is incorrect, I apologize, but it’s what it seems like.
What I object to is the “x race only” spaces, because no matter how much you say it, it is segregation. And saying otherwise when the evidence that it is so exists demonstrates cognitive dissonance.
Islam is not a race, it’s a religion. And frankly, I’m surprised that you, an lgbtqa supporter, have openly grilled Bible-keeping Christians for opposing the lgbt agenda, and yet are silent when Muslims are ACTUALLY killing and stoning lgbt in Muslim countries. We’re not talking about “oppression” in the way of Christians disagreeing with the lgbt agenda, or mean comments on social media by people who don’t agree with their lifestyle: we’re talking about stoning with stones and throwing gay people off of buildings to their deaths.
