Schrödinger’s boys

FUCK

What about cracking open a cold milkshake

As we all know, the milkshake brings the boys to the yard. The presence of the boys is a prerequisite for the cracking open of a cold one, but cold ones do not have any inherent boy-attracting abilities. Milkshakes, however, do. All else being equal, the boys would proceed to the milkshake yard. While it is possible to announce the presence of cold ones in the hope of attracting some boys, the pull of the milkshake is much more powerful by comparison.

none of this matters if they’re not back in town though

TIL: The 23¢ gender pay gap is the difference between average earnings of all men and women working full-time. It doesn’t account for differences in occupations, positions, education, job tenure or hours worked. When such relevant factors are considered, the gap narrows to the point of vanishing.

Also, in some career fields women actually earn more than men, especially women in their 20s.

My mage Sandrine has finally joined the level 110 club and earned a nice little heritage armor set in the process!

A funny anecdote about her: apparently the majority of WoW players during Legion were fire mages and retribution Paladins. Now once you get Felo’morn, the Fire mage artifact, you get three floating flame orbs that hover over your head at all times. I’ve jokingly stated that the combined heat of all those fire mages’ orbs would boil the water elementals in the Chamber of the Guardian.

So naturally I was hesitant to play as a fire mage, until i realized that it’s the most competent of the three classes. so i transmog’d my heirlooms to the Firelands set you see above. Once i hit 110 and got my heritage armor, i thought about switching to arcane, since there wasn’t really a reskin that matched the heritage armor. Then i got the hidden appearance of Felo’morn and everything worked out just fine.

“Horrible things might happen to Christians in the West but they aren’t an issue since there isn’t a system of oppression against Christians.”
“A minority cannot oppress a majority!”
“Christians are not oppressed in America, they’re just screaming oppression because they’re going to lose their special privileges lol”

You know what?
I’d very much like to see you tell that to a family that lost their business, was sued for a fortune and was barred by the state from economic aid because they refused to bake a cake for a gay wedding. Or to a kid who was expelled from college because s/he disagreed with the Muslim professor regarding the crucifixion of Jesus. Or to a couple who pleaded for custody of their grandchild but were rejected due to “homophobia”.
Tell them they aren’t REALLY oppressed. Tell them they’re just bitching because they’re losing their special privileges. Better yet, tell them that’s not REAL injustice because “the oppressed have every right to lash out against their oppressors.”

MAYBE, just maybe, it’s time to realise that ANY PERSON who’s in power over another can harm the latter. MAYBE it’s time for the oppression Olympics to stop and to realise that injustice is injustice no matter its source.
