Gar Earthwalker, the stout-hearted (though often called ‘incompetent’) Tauren shaman, had braved the winds of Northrend: when the Earth-Warder rose up to shatter the world of Azeroth, his close affinity to the elements meant that Gar could not sit idly by and let this cataclysm claim the world.

He was among that band of heroes that faced Deathwing over the Maelstrom with the assistance of the Dragon Aspects and the one true Warchief of the Horde, Thrall the son of Durotan. Alexstrasza was impressed at the Tauren’s tenacity and close regard for life. As a reward, she sent one of her servants – the blazing Aerastrasza – to accompany Gar on his journeys. Going forward, he would never walk the Barrens or fly the skies of the Grizzly Hills alone.

PS – my main didn’t get this, it was my Nightbourne mage
