Do I think diversity should be secondary to giving the best person the job? Absolutely. Do I think that it should be secondary when thinking how best to serve a story? Hell yes.
They say Lady Justice is blind. Well SJWs sure as hell aren’t. All they look at is to make sure there are the correct number of colors and ethnicity in whichever group they are inspecting. “Justice” has nothing to do with it.
These are people that are full of nothing but anger. It makes them feel good to have a crusade of some sort to fight for. They could be out saving whales or building homes and digging wells in Africa, or just volunteering at a soup kitchen, but instead they choose to use their anger to get upset about some comic book character not being female, and the female characters looking too hot.
Males have been reading comic books for decades and the stereotype of the “comic nerd” is an out of shape dork. Never did some fat kid cry about Superman not having a gut and love handles and a double chin, yet a majority of very vocal female comic fans in the last decade have complained that female comic characters are too busty and whatnot.
Thomas Sowell asks three questions of the left with a claim that it is rare that the answers are readily available. This video frames the housing market crash from 2008 and challenges those on both the Right and Left. When a social policy is adopted and becomes a top priority – asking honest questions is the only way of ensuring you remain objective. The radical left today appears to run into difficulty when those same questions are asked. The questions are worthy of being asked.
Thomas Sowell – Liberal Policy wreaks havoc on Blacks. Thomas Sowell explores the legacy of the Liberal Welfare State and compares it to the legacy of slavery. Charles Murray outlines his Universal Basic Income plan as an option.
My Fellow Liberals! Stop with your Bigotry!
Maajid Nawaz believes that not speaking freely about the issues faced by Islam will hurt those working hard within the community itself. Liberals trying to help by shutting down conversations are committing the “Bigotry of Low Expectations”. He says it’s a double standard to assume his religion – Islam – has nothing to do with terror attacks. Making people shut up will make the problems worse.
Jordan Peterson talks at the University of Calgary. While researching for a response to an article that was critical of Jordan Peterson, he uploaded a new video. In it, were several relevant points that speak to critics who often misrepresent him. This clip is one example.
Jordan Peterson and Jonathan Haidt – We all have flaws. It’s how we deal with them.
Jordan Peterson and Jonathan Haidt offer perspectives on why and how University students, and especially those in the humanities in particular, deal with diversity and shortcomings in a way that defines them as “Victims”.
“Is there worse evil than that which goes in the mask of good?”
-Lloyd Alexander, The High King (I don’t remember which character said it, but the book was first printed in like the 60s or 70s)
Anqueefa are the 21st century’s Nazis little sisters.
God can even forgive the murderer, there is no sin too great for God to forgive!
this is funny, because people like anon will wail and cry and screech about “moral ambiguity” and how “no one is truly evil” when it comes to the people they like, but demand a moral standard for the people they hate. now assuming that this is the same anon who said the same thing about heaven being ‘full of rapists, murderers, and child molesters’, this person wants to hate God.
because for them, if God is all just, then anon hates Him for hating their cherished sins (like, oh idk, homosexuality!). but then if God is all forgiving, then those people they “don’t like” are therefore under the same grace as they are and that makes them scared. it is funny because they will decry dehumanizing language and “us vs. them” mentality while, oh idk, doing the same exact things to the people they don’t like!
well this speaks volumes about the people i know and how they treat me
