So this is just a master-post of some of my favorite YouTubers and why I like them so much. I won’t go into my least favorite YouTubers, since one or two of them I refuse to give any presence on my page. Honorable mentions will go at the very bottom very last part of this post, with a link to the YouTuber’s channel on their URL name in the post.
Because of the five video limit, this series will be in parts, with this one as the very first.
So without further ado, and in no particular order, here we go…
Oxhorn was one of the first YouTube personalities that I became accustomed with. The first videos of his that I enjoyed were his World of Warcraft machinima, which juxtaposed his soft, silky voice with his usual toon, a Tauren. From what I learned, he left World of Warcraft some time around Mists of Pandaria and stopped making machinima for it, and moved on instead to video game commentary, walkthroughs, and mod showcasing (generally for the Fallout series, as far as I’ve seen). Definitely recommend for his informative videos and all-around pleasant demeanor.
How I stumbled across this adorable World of Warcraft vlogger I do not entirely know. Apart from her earlier videos, where she screen-captured one of her alts, a Gnome priest, and her voice fit perfectly with the adorable little Gnome, her how-to guides have been very beneficial in my own playing of World of Warcraft. Unlike certain other World of Warcraft vloggers who I will not name, Hazel of Hazelnuttygames is down-to-earth and, by all appearances, a generally pleasant individual: that makes watching her videos truly a delight.
Do you like swords, medieval combat, and overall funny stuff? Skallagrim is the one for you! Known internet-wide for his rather humorous analysis of a certain dueling technique, his videos on swordsmanship and firearms are very informative and fun to watch. The only gripe I have about him that isn’t a nitpick to the tune of “omg you destroyed the immersion of the weapons from my favorite video games!” is that, like almost everyone else on the internet, he is an atheist. However, for the sake of weaponry, this is not a serious issue. Now End Him RIghtly, Skal!
And speaking of immersion…
Maybe the main Skyrim/Fallout mods reviewing channel would have been more appropriate, but MxR Plays is at least 10 times more exciting and…immersive as fuck. MxR and Potastic Panda (also known as Henry and Jeanie) immersively plow their way through internet memes, funny videos, recipes of food and drink from video games, and fun adventures in real life in a way that is positively amazing.
You just read this description in MxR’s voice, didn’t you, Jimmy? That’s fucking immersive!
And speaking of coarse language…
One of several featured on this post that actually resides right here on Tumblr. Witnessing The Rageaholic tear apart my favorite music sub-genre, and the album that spawned it, may not have been the best thing to be watching on my 28th birthday earlier this very year, but it was a damn good introduction nevertheless. While most other YouTube personalities are left-wing ideologues with horrible tastes in music and movies, Razorfist is the only one with a functioning brain in his skull and decent tastes for music: at least we can unilaterally agree that Motorhead and Bathory are fucking awesome! If you’re out there, @the-rageaholic, Godspeed and can’t wait until you do a Metal Mythos video on Black Sabbath.
“oh you’re just too stupid to realize that all your favorite stories are actually all about me and all the ideas i agree with!”
no, you smug, self-righteous virtue-signaler! Superman wasn’t great for being an analogy for jewish immigration to the US. Harry Potter wasn’t great for being an anti-race narrative.
i can’t speak for everyone, as you presume to do, Mr. Doyle, but for myself, Superman was escapism in the same way that Conan was criticized for being: Kal-El was the strong man who could do the right things without being pushed around for it. And for the record, people aren’t very fond of Superman at all, going instead for the caped virtue signaler Batman, who believes that torture is the morally superior option to killing.
once more, speaking only for myself this time, Harry Potter was a coming of age story. he was a kid just like us, and we got to see the wizarding world through his eyes, because we, like him, were not born into the world of the mysterious and magical but from the ordinary and mundane. and while people like you continue to spin the tale that Harry Potter is really about the bleach blond racist prick Draco Malfoy and that Harry is “just a dumb jock”, there were kids and adults of various ethnicities in the Harry Potter world on both sides of the conflict (books and movies).
also, i’m calling you out here and now, Mr. Doyle. if you want to make the statement that “all your favorite stories always preached social justice if you look deep enough into them”, i’m going to call you out on your bs examples. The Last Jedi? Really? The worst movie of the trilogy, worse than the much-maligned prequels? The movie that reduced a black man to a joke and glorified Crylo McWeab (Johnson’s own words, he axed Snoke because he thought emo ren was “more interesting”), while having the brown Poe(seph) Dameron slapped and verbally condescended to by TWO white women?! Or Black Panther, the black power movement’s Birth of a Nation? Where the characters are spewing condescending anti-white comments left and right, or hooting the only other white main character into silence when he tries to speak? What’s “inclusive” about that?!
“inclusivity” is a bullshit term that actually means “no white men allowed”. Mr. Doyle, dismount the high horse, put away your Starbucks coffee, turn off Comedy Central, leave the ivory tower for once in your feckless life and open your eyes!
and for all of you ready to come in with “it’s just a movie/comic/game/whatever”, let me ask you this: if “it’s just a X”, why then are liberals so hellbent on ruining it with their virtue signaling and ideology that has zero precedence or practical application in the real world other than bringing about a socialist utopia? because they know that people are going to be influenced by these things (hell, they took over the education system, they’re conditioning newer generations to be less and less intelligent). so why not bludgeon everyone over the head with the message that you want them to rather than the truth? after all, that’s what national SOCIALISTS do; preach a lie over and over until it is believed by the masses

Tumblr has failed me yet again
Why are there no pictures of Gorgoroth’s Hat with a hat photoshopped onto his head? We can find pictures of Abbath walking in a forest with Dora the Explorer, Tartar “Grumpy Cat” Sauce and/or husky doge posing with the members of Immortal, varg holding a cat, but Hat wearing a hat?! Nowhere to be found!
“She is certainly a great Queen and were she only a Catholic she would be our dearly beloved. Just look how well she governs! She is only a woman, only mistress of half an island, and yet she makes herself feared by Spain, by France, by the Empire, by all.”
— Pope Sixtus V describes Queen Elizabeth I, c.1588.
