And now for part two…
Like Razorfist, Sincerely Sarcastic is another denizen of Tumblr. However, the content of this channel is drastically different. Aside from having more in common with the rest of the internet politically (save for the topic of abortion), the videos on this channel are generally speaking fun and spiritually informative. I keep a high standard for the spiritual content which I indulge in, and only about 30% or less of what I’ve seen on this channel is objectionable to me. Thank you @gothicchristian and can’t wait for new videos.
Okay, for this one I’m going to cheat a little bit just because I like both of her channels. The musician known as Malukah makes some amazing music: true, it is a lot softer than what I generally prefer (except for “Rise from the Dark”), but talent is not exclusive to metal music (an opinion for which I will suffer greatly for saying). Also her second channel, Malukah Without Reverb, features some of the funnest Let’s Play I’ve seen in a long time. Gracias a @malufenix!
I don’t know if this is entirely true, but for my part, the art of World of Warcraft machinima seems to have faded away. With Ventass leaving after the shutdown of legacy servers, few content creators present original World of Warcraft-related material through machinima, even with the updated character models from Warlords of Draenor. With a few exceptions, Nora Sunstrider is one of the few machinima artists still making World of Warcraft machinima to this day. Her brand of humor and commentary on the World of Warcraft community make her videos both enjoyable and, as a long-time ex-World of Warcraft player myself, highly relatable. Also, her English is so good that I find it hard to believe that she’s not a native speaker as she says.
It’s not often that I find someone else on the internet who has a thinking brain within their heads; it’s even rarer to find someone who also shares my tastes in film and television (big Trekkie). But The Dave Cullen Show (and his side channel Computing Forever) happens to be just that. True, like with Razorfist, it’s almost a certainty that he’s an atheist: thankfully, though, I haven’t found too many objectionable videos of his yet. Nonetheless, his humorous commentary on politics and real world events (without hopping on the progressivist bandwagon) make him a much welcome breath of fresh air.
Oh look, yet another YouTuber of the former British Empire! I’m of the opinion that most YouTube celebrities (with the exception of Pewdiepie, the only sane Swede) are Eastern European, British/South African/Australian, Canadian, or black Americans reacting to stuff. The mighty Shadiversity falls into the second category; but he’s entertaining nevertheless. From his analysis of swordplay, fantasy, films, medieval architecture, as well as his own unique brand of humor…you will find yourself chortling every time he brings up “murder ‘oles”, “barbicans” and, of course “machicolations!”
